The 'lovely' ladies were out on JTR? Uggh. :x

That's the main song I was looking forward to.

I hate to say this, but I'm not looking forward to it, anymore at least. I bought Listener Supported and I was pretty dissapointed. The backup singers hurt some of those songs in my opinion. Also, Backup Singers, Butch, and anyone else in my opinion < Tim Reynolds on....hell.. any instrument. If you see the webcast of the Chicago show that was also released on CD you will see what im talking about. By the way, this all just my opinion.

I think it's got too much everyday, but I'm REALLY excited to be getting the "Everyday/#36" hybrid. I heard it last summer at the DC show and I just loved it. It will also be good to hear JTR which I believe was unjustly cut from Busted Stuff, it's a great song! And I think the girls sounded great on Listener Supported! I'm looking forward to them on this album...

But man alive, so much Everyday on that CD...

Well, it's not that the ladies are bad on everything. For instance, I think Stay is much, much better with them included.

But JTR? Uggh. I just can't imagine that song needing them (i.e., no repetitive vocals during the jam).

I think JTR is one of the few songs they improve, I'm a fan of them in JTR, Busted Stuff, Granny, Stay, Every 36 Days, and...I think that's it, the rest I can do without them on

if you like hearing dave matthews, the cd everyday was a success. if you like hearing the rest of the band it wasn't. but songs like what you are, and so right, etc.. are played much different live, and don't hardly reflect the way the play them on the cd. but for dave matthews, in no way was everyday a mistake. it showed his versatility from being able to jam an acoustic to being able to thrash a baritone. and then bringing out busted stuff, which is essentrically more mellow and again bringing back the acoustic. just my opinion! keep up the good work dave
