Everyday
Hey I just learned Everyday and I was just going to ask for any tips regarding any aspect of this song. I just want all the help I can get. Thanks!
Well, considering its not his most complexed song out there, I learned that it really helps to just relax when playing it. The only part that might have some tricky timing is the Bridge. I had a soft bit of trouble way-back when I took my first shot at it. (Although I'd only been playing for 3 months self-taught)
All-in-all, not too difficult a song, just practice, have fun, and stay relaxed.

I've seen times where Dave finger-picked, but I do believe he used a pick one year at Farm-Aid. It really depends which version you intend on playing. If you really want to get into it, you could use a pick, and used the remaining fingers to finger-pick at parts in the song. Mixing the strummed and picked version is a way to get a nice sound.

really hit those bass notes in the funky break down, its a killer contract if you make that bit heavy
Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"

I'd say its pretty tricky if you want to try and play it as he did at the 9/11 tribute.MakoMako wrote:Well, considering its not his most complexed song out there, I learned that it really helps to just relax when playing it.
