So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Hey guys, so long no posting, things have been busy.
Anyway I am looking for a fingerstyle tab of Gravedigger. I was wondering if anyone knew if Dave ever played the song solo live or whether the acoustic version off the album has been acuratly tabbed. I prefer to learn by Powertab or Guitar Pro, however standard is fine if thats the only method.
Cheers dudes and dudettes

I can't tell you how accurate the tab is, but I can say that Dave has played Gravedigger by himself a bunch of times. If I recall, he does it by himself when he's with DMB instead of D&F. And he also performed it solo at this past Farm Aid.

Oh hey Mako, I forgot you used this site too. Using the same username for two sites aint always a good way to cover your tracks you know
Thanks for the info though, I figured it was something like that. I know he does do it on the Dave and Friends shows. I cant seem to find one good tab that isnt crappy chords. I have on Guitar Pro tab of it but its pretty inaccurate, the chords are all wrong and there are a lot of wrong notes and rhythms.

Well, I'm pretty sure the site tab is very accurate. I've only strummed my way through it a couple of times, but I'm pretty sure its accurate. Between the full band version and the solo version, he doesn't seem to play anything drastically different as it is anyway.

The song is in A minor I do believe, there is no G chord in the song, or a C for that matter. I have listened to the recording a million times and even I can tell there is no G, C maybe its possible but I dont really know.

Yeh dude the tab on this site is completely accurate. You can even watch any videos of him performing it solo (on youtube as someone had said) and even see that he's playing it just like the site says. I know Kanter's big on accuracy here.
And if you get it right it sounds just like dave ... pretty easy song.
