New way of playing Raven

Unread post by benspace » Thu Jun 29, 2006 11:30 am

I was at the camden show last night and i was watching how he played raven and it was different from the tab on this site. He was playing the whole verse down around the 3rd fret. Has anyone seen this?

You might be thinking of that little turnaround before going into the verse ala Benaroya Hall.

Or maybe not, I'm confused.

No dave's been playing raven this tour with open first-position chords for some reason. Something like what Pat posted earlier. He must think it sounds better. And I guess it doesn't sound bad, but I like the other way better to be honest with you.
