I cant believe this

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I cant believe this

Unread post by STLflmmkr » Mon Jun 19, 2006 6:55 pm

I have been playing for long enough where I thought I wouldnt have any problems learning a simple song. I tried searching and found nothing. I can play just about any DMB song just fine. Today I thought I would play one that for some reason I never played before.

I have no idea why I cant get the rhythm for #36 to sound right. Does anyone have a solo recording. This is kind of embarrassing and Im mad at myself for not being able to play this easy simple riff.

I think the part thats giving me trouble is the fingering thats on here. It says that the 2nd finger does both the 9th fret 3rd string and the 8th fret 6th string notes. Why not just use your 1st finger since its already on the 5th string.

oooooh, i think this warrants a walk-off.

i have troubles w/ the intro to OSW. kind of the same deal. just be patient. you'll get it. it's kind of like learning to sing harmonies. you just have to not be afraid to mess it up and sing off-key a couple times before you find it. so you'll have to dive pretty hard into 36 and butcher it before you find the rhythm. just don't play it in front of other people yet :)
