Lie in Our Graves Tab

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Lie in Our Graves Tab

What are the chords at the begining of the song, most likely played by Tim. Right after the first time of the riff played by Dave, you can hear them. It has some harmonics to it.

I need some help on the Jam part of this song.
The 10xx11 / 9xx9 / 7xx7 / 3xx4 / 5xx6 etc..
These kind of chords are also used in other songs of course...

My question is:
Do I have to mute the A and D string, or can I play the D open.
It's kind of hard for me to make it sound clear and tight without buzzing.....

Any advice ?? ..thanks..

It's in D, so you can leave the D open.

I do the single strums with the D open, when it starts to get in the rhythmic part i mute the D
