Everybody Wake Up
Everybody Wake Up
I am still pretty novice at this, but I noticed the tab in the Stand Up Tabs Post for Everybody wake up are not the same as what Dave plays on the Weekend on the Rocks DVD. He's playing in the 2nd and 3rd fret and I am having trouble figuring it out...Can someone help me out and re-post that if they have it? Thanks.

Everybody Wake Up
That's what I thought - seems like he moves up to the A and/or D strings after he plays that one go round - that's the part I was confused on. I got the part that was just tabbed, but couldn't make the next part sound right.

i like playing this one acoustic
i play it like this
_______
_______
_14_12_
_12_12_
_12_10_
_10_10_
using those chords instead of the individual notes
it fills up the space and you can do a lot rhythmically
with them.
i've found that the songs on stand up can be really
fun to play, even solo. all you have to do is get into them
a little deeper than just what dave is playing.
try to play everyone's parts at once and you might be
surprised what you find.
