my tab for #34

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

my tab for #34

Unread post by waffle_house_jam » Mon Nov 11, 2002 5:31 pm

I noticed there wasn't tab for #34 on the site yet and I recall somebody asking for it, so here's my attempt at tabbing it, I'm 99% sure its all right, so here it is for you guys to check. Jkanter or whoever, if you wanna use it, go ahead.
#34
Dave Matthews Band
E:-------------------------------------------------------------------
B:-------------------------------------------------------------------
G:-------------11----6-----7-6-------------------------------------
D:------9----9-----4-----7------4-7-----------------10-----10----
A:----7---/7-----------5--------------5/7-7-9----8------8--------
E:--5--------------------------------------------6------6-----------

( the 6-8-10 chord at the last bit is used sometimes, and its also the chord they use to end the song)

the other jam in the song goes something like this (this is the part im unsure about):
E:----------------------
B:----------------------
G:----------------------
D:----------------------
A:--5--4--0-----5--7--
E:------------7---------

any input or corrections would be appreciated...

yeah they are the same notes, but its always interesting to see how other people play stuff. i really dont know how Dave plays it, and i know thats one of the major issues on this site (tabbing stuff the way dave plays it) so they may wanna use your version. as for the slides, i tried to keep it from getting too complicated for people learning it...they kinda come naturally as you try to keep it sounding mellow and clean.
thanks..
