Does Dave use delay sometimes on his mic/vocals because for songs like Grey Street when he goes GREEEEEEYY at the end it sounds he has a delay or something. And if so how does he trigger it, is it just someone in the back that hits the switch?
and all the little ants are marching..

I 've often wondered the same thing. I never see him switching pedal, not do I see any pedals at his feet on dvd's, so I would assume monk or someone does the switching off stage. I have never been a big fan of this approach.

That's the beauty of working with the same sound guy for over a decade.
When you have your own sound guy he knows the song as well as you do (he should) and adds delay, reverb when needed.
People like Howie Day have several delay pedals and a Behringer mixer at their feet and he can use the effects at will for certain songs.
I personally like a set reverb/delay level and I sing within that, then when the song calls for a big soaring note the soundguy kicks in the verb and helps me through it.

What about the times with Dave and Tim? (Live at Luther College) I know he sings Grey Street, but does he (or Monk) use reverb?

I know you can hear delay in luther college's warehouse in the intro. I used to think it was just the natural reverb of the room but I was wrong

if you watch him play grey street, you can see him take a breath durring the yell and stopp yelling while it continues for a bit, so hes got the delay.

That's weird they don't list a Line 6 on the gear page.
Wonder why?

So stupid people think he is doing it all with his voice.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
