Warehouse

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Warehouse

Unread post by Taylor2885 » Sun Mar 05, 2006 1:05 am

I'm almost a 100 percent positive that this has been answered before, but i couldn't find it in a search. During their winter '05 tour last December, during warehouse they went into a bit of a different jam during their normal jam in the song ... and it was awesome. It's hard to explain but i'm sure somebody knows what i'm talking about .. or actually probably most of you know. anyway does anybody have the tab for what Dave plays for this "new" jam during warehouse?
Are you thinking of the salsa jam?

http://www.dmbtabs.com/boards/viewtopic ... ight=salsa
No it was different than that, cuz Dave just plays the normal chords during that. It was just like a breakdown in their jam at the end of the song that i've never heard before. It was really cool but hard to describe ... anybody see them do this in the winter tour '05?

Nothing has been done different. I'm gonna go ahead and assume are refferring to the almighty salsa jam.

There isn't any breakdown besides the actual ending?....

E:---------------------------0--0--
B:--2-----------------------0--0--
G:--2----------------------1---1--
D:--2---------------------4----4--
A:------------------------2------2-
E:-------3----2----1----0------0--
......Alpine 2007 coming soon.

I'm tellin ya there is a new breakdown that they did at the State College show in Pennsylvania on December 6, 2005, that replaced the salsa jam. It was something different. I was just wondering if anybody knew what Dave was playing on it. There's got to be somebody else that has heard this knew breakdown!

Linus and Lucy isn't christmas music. It's from the Charlie Brown soundtrack.

No it's not a linus and lucy variation ... it's cool we can just end the thread, i thought somebody else may have saw it played this way. But anyway it was a cool breakdown/variation of warehouse. It couldn't have been played this way at just one show though

If your sure the breakdown in Warehouse wasn't Linus and Lucy (DMBalamanac.com says it was) then I don't know what to tell you. Could it have been a breakdown into Linus and Lucy..or an outro out of it.

I'm sorry about that. I just looked at dmbalmanac and I see that it says linus and lucy interpolation ... that just confuses me because I know what linus and lucy sounds like and I feel like I would have recognized it as that when I heard it. Anyway if it was a linus and lucy than it was definitely a cool little variation of it. I wish I had a sound clip of it ... anybody have a sound clip of them doing this linus and lucy interpolation during warehouse during the winter 05 tour? I'm sure they did at other shows. Thanks everybody for their help.
