I always thought it would be cool if they made one since he has always used the 914 in concerts. But then again it got me thinking of what would be special about it? Maybe just take a 914c and stick the fishman matrix in it, have Dave sign the inside and call it limited.... naw. I'm guessing the only reason Dave uses a Taylor is because they are alot easier to play then Martins an that will be better for live purposes, he's more of a martin guy it seems. But I don't know, you never know, it would be cool if they did, I would be interested to see how them make it unique.

DMB live = Taylor
Dave wants to higher end of the Taylor to cut through the band. The Martin gets droned out a good bit.

I am pretty sure that just about every time in the past few years that "DMB" has been out promoting a new record on T.V. (Letterman, Leno, Conan, etc.) Dave has played the Taylor when an acoustic was required....JCork wrote:see if any of you agree...
check any TV show appearance and you will see the martin, not the taylor from what ive noticed (this is post-chet) ... let me know if you can correct me.

they would be less limited though, the point of a limited edition is to produce a small amount, keeps the value highpaulaitchison wrote:hes got a martin one already, so no i would be very supprised if that was the case. im not awair of anyone ever having has one from both.
