ants marching jam
anyone know what chords dave's playing during the violin solo? sounds like some basic hammer ons or slides but i just cant nail it.

just hit the normal D and G chords on the site, then aply around with slides to the above chords.

Whenever I play it I use these fills between the D and G chords.

for the chords i posted b4(9th chordes*(, barre the bottom 3 strings with ur ring finger) or pinkyP0) and then the 4th string with ur indewx and finally the 5th with ur middle finger. Soryy if that makes nor sense cos im kinda not sober right now but let me know if it doesnt and ill try to correct myself in the morning.steveostyle wrote:I can never get the fingering quite right

You're talking about the 9th chords? You can also play them without the bottom note (on the high e string). Sometimes I play 9th chords with all my fingers (w/out barring anything). for example:carter29 wrote:top

I just looked at what I posted and didn't notice that I mixed up the index & middle fingers.
