busted stuff tuning?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

You tune up from there and you'll have three broken strings. :D Tune whichever way is closest, as long as its reasonable. Just use common sense.

i did it, but i put it back. it sounds kinda cool, but my guitar is breaking and my strings are old, and the combination won't let the EGBEBE stay in tune.

What is everyones opinion about just using a capo? I feel that you get the same sound overall without all the hassle.

You're getting Busted Stuff Tuning (open Em: EGBEBE) confused with You Never Know and Stay or Leave tuning ("raised B": BEADF#B)

all i'm saying is that i'm really happy to see dave start using some alternative tunings. it really opens up the playing and you can make some really awesome chords and lots of droning notes also. i hope he keeps looking to alternative tunings in his next songs too.
