Dreams of our Fathers

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Just wondering where I can get a good tab of this.

It's one of the only songs on Everyday I truly dig and it's a damn shame it's never been done live.

It hasn't been played live. Only soundchecked. The soudcheck copy that is floating around is, well, not good. Dave just has a difficult time playing and singing it at the same time. Studio 'magic' doesn't always make its way to the stage.

Yeah, and if there isn't a video of the song kanter will not touch it, because it wouldnt be officially 100% accurate unless he watched a video of Dave playing it.

Yes, if anyone does, yousendit, please. :)

And if the man himself has a hard time playing it and singing it himself, then I'm staying the fuck away from it for the time being. ;)

Obviously it's a little botched up, but I kinda like this song live... just me?

It's not terrible. It has that really fast groove to it, which I kinda like.
The other side of it could just be that the band hates it. Not every single thing they record has to be done on stage.
