Jimi Thing - Golden Gate Park

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Jimi Thing - Golden Gate Park

I know this is my first post here - been using the site for years...just getting into the boards - and please don't say "search" - i have.

Does anyone know the tab or chords dave plays during the solo - when he starts playing them faster and faster....sounds like it's only three cords.

thanks in advance!

I haven't listened to this version of the song, but if the solo you're talking about is the "For What It's Worth" interpolation, such as the one on CP, i believe you are right when you say he plays three cords. If this is what you're looking for, i'm sure someone could tab out Dave's part for it, as it doesnt seem to difficult at all.

o yeah,

DMBtabs, welcome to it. :)

would it be legal to post just a clip of a song from an official release? Its not like you are giving away the song, just a few seconds of it. Of course, i have no idea how you would break it up.

you could easily break it in itunes.
just put it in a playlist. then go
right click on song
get info
options
start/ stop time
change to get what you want.

im pretty sure that its not in breach if its under 50 seconds............. enough to get the jam, and if only people who actually think they could tab it take it then its not going to piss of the managment of a band who ENCOURAGE and owe its success to (in part) bootlegs
