how do I tweak my electric?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

how do I tweak my electric?

This question is probably asked all the time but how can i get my electric to sound like dave's? I have an acoustic simulator and ive been messing around with the settings but cant get it just right. Any help would be much appreciated.
