Two Step Strummed or Picked?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Two Step Strummed or Picked?

Is Two Step strummed? Or is he finger picking most of it? Sorry, I know it's a dumb question but I just can't tell:(
