So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

"Hidden" Song on Before These Crowded Streets

Unread post by Doron Diamond » Sat Apr 19, 2003 1:46 am

After Spoon, if you wait for about a minute, a really pretty 35-40 second song comes on to close the album with the words "everything will be alright...) Does anyone know how to play this, or know where to get tabs for this? I know its short but it's one of my favorite DM melodies and it's just so calm and peaceful:) Thanks a lot for any help. BTW, does it have a name?

Try this

Code: Select all

"Come in from the cold..."
E-------------------------
B-----------2-----2-------
G--6---6----x-----x-------
D--4---4----4-----4-------
A--x---x----x-----x-------
E--7---6----1-----2-------

Or the easy way
E-------------------------
G-------------------------
B-------------------------
D---9---8---3---4---------
A---9---9---4---4---------
E---7---6---1---2---------

Unknown tabber, or I would've gave him credit for it. Tell me how it sounds to you...It sounds great to me. I tried moving the first two chords to a more "satellite" style on the A string instead of the E string...but who knows.

The song is called "Everything Will Be Alright" or "The Last Stop Reprise"
-Mike-

"A dream it's true
but I'd see it through
if I could be
wasting my time
with you..."

Its actually the same as the ending to Last Stop:

Code: Select all

(tuned half a step down)

eb-3--3--3--3--|
bb-3--3--3--3--|
gb-0--0--0--0--|
db-x--x--0--0--|
ab-3--2--x--2--|
eb-------2--3--|
