OK I wanted to put my old guitar into Raised B tuning to play stay or leave, so I went and go the strings extra light 10 - 50 and set it up low to high): .039, .029, .018, .014, .010, .016 (settings that dave uses), with the exception being I used a .014 for the last string. Tuning it up I broke 3 strings which I could replace but tuning the 1st string I could not get it to work, now could it be that when I tried a .014, a .018, and a .010 (they were the only strings I had) that since it wasnt the 0.016 that it didnt work? The other strings were also off by a .001 or .002 . Any ideas on what I can do, do I need to make sure that I get a .016 next time? I am getting pretty angry at the raised b tuning, any advice would be nice. thanks
Ryan

kanter made a thread about this. look in General Guitar Discussion.
