I see the tab says 'raised B tuning' but how does one do that?

if im not mistaken just tune each string up x amount of steps to get to the right note. simple enough.

you need different strings. there is a thread about it somewhere.
you can also just put a capo pn 7th fret/

Yep, the problem with Stay or Leave is normal guitars with normal strings can't take the tension of tuning up 3 or 4 or however many steps it is. Normally it can only hold 1 and a half comfortably. You'll snap them every time.

there is a post in

i posted a standard tuning tab of stay or leave without a capo somewhere on the boards. the subject is stay or leave in standard (thanks for the help) or something like that... I think its a decent tab, especially if you have no capo, or no extra guitar with different strings. anyways...hope that helps

I was playing the bass notes to the main part of stay or leave last night and I thought to myself, "how the hell am I gonna fit anything else in b/w each note". Has anyone been able to play this well? Are you hitting the bass and then a quick down/up stroke for the rest of the chord before going on to the next bass note? I need practice.
