9.1.95 - Jimi Thing

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Does anyone know the lick that Dave and David Ryan Harris were playing at the end of Jimi Thing?

Hey all,

Sorry revive an old thread, but I heard this jam and immediately wanted to learn how to play it.

I did a serach and this was the closest thing I could to anything

Anyone figure it out between then and now?

Thanks in advance.

Ya I would but so appreciative if someone could upload a video or mp3 of this and then has the tab.

Wow a lot to ask for I know, but this is my favorite song.

no one ever gets mad when some one revives an old thread. its the clone ones.

post your audio and ill try and do a tab (it may suck, i need to hear it first)

It's on the site. It's actually listed as an old style D&T Intro but it's the same thing. If you notice, it's also the Angel riff :)

First section of the tab is accurate. For the notes on the A string...you can just move them down 5 frets and onto the G string if that's easier.
