ants marching help

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

i dont know how you are playing it, but i started playing the verse with just my index finger on all of the slides and notes. So it sounded rushed and short.
I still havent gotten used to using the correct fingering yet, but it is a lot clearer.

Yeah ive just started playing around with Ants too, and the verse sucks for me abit too. It just doesnt sound loud enough. It sounds ok when when i hit the correct strings! but its not very loud. I dunno? :?

i started playing it a week ago, and what i've done so far for the slides is mute the top string and strum the entire thing, only trying to hit the top three strings(ala dave in storytellers). it sounds ok sometimes, basically i just need practice. but i'd watch the videos if you're still confused, they helped me.
hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you
