what font size font do i need to use

to make the tab look right? i type it out notepad which uses the courier font size 10 if that helps.

Doesn't matter what font. Just highlight the whole tab and hit the "code" button, which is next to Bold, Italics, and Underline. That will format the tabs correctly.
