Stand Up and Stone
Stand Up and Stone
I struggle with the intros to these to songs because of the way strumming speed picks. The 5-5-2-3-2 part on the D string in stone gets me everytime and stand up is similar. I've been playing for about 8 months and songs like these are the only ones I have trouble with. Can anyone give me some tips to get the rhythm?

I struggled with The Stone big time when I was first learning it. The only advice I can give is just keep practicing it. Eventually it will just click and when it does Stand Up will be no problem at all. At least that's how it happened for me, I already had The Stone down pat so when I was learning Stand Up it was a cinch for me.
