Everyday Tab

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Everyday Tab

Unread post by Levi » Tue Nov 05, 2002 2:14 am

jkanter just updated the front page saying he'll have some more tabs up soon, and I assume that Everday will be one of the songs he tabs, but if anyone could post tabs for it now that would be great, I just love hearing Dave play it accoustically by himself and would like to get it right.

Sorry man....Everyday isn't one of them just yet. By the end of this week, I should have up every single song that I possibly can(meaning all I have on video).

The main ones are:
Everyday
Jimi Thing
You Never Know
Where Are You Going
Waste

I have I Did It obviously but I don't have a video of Dave's fingers when they do the little breakdown so I don't want to post it just yet. Anyway, I should have those up soon. That should co-ordinate pretty nicely around the time the contribution section gets up.....enojy....PEACE

This is fingerpicked on A Tribute To Heroes: using the thumb for the bass notes and the index for the D and G strings. But the 10-9 combo is strumbed with his finger nails.

intro/verse ("pick me up love...")

E---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
B---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
G------9------------9-----9----------------------------------------------------9-
D------10-- 10-----------10---10------x3 than this----------10------10----10
A---8--------------------------------8--------------------8--------8--------X----
E----------------8------8------------------------------6-----6--------6--------8-

chorus ("all you need is, all you want is...")

E---------------------------------------------------
B-----0h1--------1------1-----------------------------------1-----
G-----0----------0------0------------------------------------0----------0
D-----0h2-------2------2---- x3 but on third time hold:-2---then---0
A--0-------------X------X-----------------------------------X-----------2
E--------------1-----3---------------------------------------1-----------3

bridge ("what you got , lay it down on me")

Code: Select all

E---------------------------------------------------
B------------------------------------------------------
G-----------5---------6--------3-----5-----5--------------
D-----------3---------6--------1-----5-----5------
A-----------X---------X--------X----3------X--------------
E------5/6------4-4-------4-4----------3----------------------------
This will at least get ya started till Jkanter gets a nicer one up with the finger numbers and stuff :)

peace,
Ken
good, and you?
