Crash (Timmy VH1 Storytellers)

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Crash (Timmy VH1 Storytellers)

Unread post by Alazais » Fri Jun 10, 2005 2:57 pm

I was wondering if anyone knows the "in a boys dream" part for this, and if it could be posted. I checked the one that was on these forums. But after watching the Video again, it doesn't look or sound totally right. So I was hoping someone else knew it?

Thanks in advance

Yes, I read that. And after hearing it, and seeing it on Storytellers, I don't believe it's right. Close, but not right. Thus I asked if anyone could help me out with what it is.

I think it's something more like.

E:--0002-0000002---
B:--5555-5555555---
G:--4444-4444444---
D:-----------------
A:--4444-4444444
E:-----------------

He then changes to something else which I can't make out, so I was wondering if anyone knew it?

you just slide that same figure up the neck, so it's like...

e---9
b---13
g---12
d---x
a---x
e---x

with the appropriate pull offs of the e string. slide that form around a little bit, you get some neat fills.
