Hey does anyone know if dave is playing this lyle lovett cove on this tour yet. Also I learned this song about two years ago from some web site. the tabs were much different than they are here. I loved the way the song was tabed out it had much fuller chords. Does anyone still have an old tab of this song or even have a clue of what im talking about. please help...I love that song.

If I Had A Boat

Intro:

x x x x x 2 x
5 x x x 5 4 5
4 2 4 4 4 4 4
2 2 2 2 2 4 2
2 4 2 2 2 2 2
0 5 4 0 0 x 0

"If I Had A Boat....."

x x x 2 2 x x x x x 2 x
x x 5 2 4 x x x x x 4 5
2 4 4 2 4 2 4 4 2 4 4 4
2 2 2 4 4 2 2 2 2 2 4 2
4 2 2 4 2 4 2 2 4 2 2 2
5 4 0 2 x 5 4 0 5 4 x 0

This had better be readable when it translates. somebodies gotta teach me how to use that code thing.
anyways, was this the version that you learned before? this one does have a bit of a better sound but its hella harder to play.

It ain't

The easiest way to make tabs come out right is to do the following:
1) Tab it out how you would like in Notepad.
2) Copy it.
3) Paste it in between two code tags
(bracket)code(bracket)
Tab here
(bracket)/code(bracket)
