hey, if anyone knows how to play the jams for LIOG epecially the first one and could send me a video i would greatly appreciate it. I know its probably annoying to make a video but it helps so much.

Hey, ive just learnt LIOG and that first jam had my so annoyed. Not because it was difficult, just because it didnt sound right? I think partly it was due to my guitar and i wasnt getting allot of sound from it. So in the end i just made up my own jam. The others jams are pretty easy though!

I didnt listen to Ole's clip but I have a few a recording of me playing this slowed down then I speed up to regular tempo, if you need it let me know.

im sorry if thats hard to follow. im not sure where you are having problems but this is the entire jam the top guitar is the tim part the bottom is dave

do you guys know how to post a sound file i have a midi file that goes along with the tab i posted earlier and thats how i learned it. I use a program called power tab whenever i have problems with learning songs. You can tab it out in the program and then export it as a midi file.

Thanks for the help guys, after seeing the old video I heard it in the song right away. I can almost play it pretty good now, it wasnt as hard as I thought and the other jams arent to hard either. Thanks again.

It would be a good idea to learn all the different shapes and positions of those chords in the previous post. Try Playing them in first position as open chords. THis will help you understand the guitar, and the song better. Just play w the CD. I decided to make a basic tab of what i do when i gig. THis is meant to give the song more texture and color when being played by one guitar. If you just play daves chords over and over again, w no lead, the song will get stale very quickly. Hope this is useful to some.

NOTE: Here i gave two ways to play the Em and Bm in the second
progression. You have to use your thumb (not Em) for most.
Just find a way that you feel comfortable with.

Good luck. This is just a basic idea. Play around with the notes in ( ), or any other notes in the scale or key. This makes the jam sound full when being played by one guitar. Its adds flavor and character.

Its been a little while, has anyone tried some of the single guitar LIOG jam i posted a week ago. Just curious. Might seem a little different if you arent used to the thumb, but it sounds good when jamming solo when gigging. Just play around with the chords and throw some improv. I will try to post a video of me doing it. Im pretty dumb w computers, but i will try.
