Some Devil bonus disc: Crush jam

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Some Devil bonus disc: Crush jam

Unread post by BlindmanInTheDark » Sun Apr 24, 2005 7:18 pm

Has anyone ever tried to tab the jam at the end of Crush from the Some Devil bonus disc? Either Dave's or Tim's part. I think it sounds incredible, but i don't have the musical knowledge or the ear to tab music form ear yet so if someone would be willing to help me out that'd be awesome.
Thanks

Crush isn't even on the Some devil bonus disc, but I am not sure if the warehouse people who preordered SD had it on there.

I have it on mine, and I am not a WH member. I did preorder though.

Is it the Boone version?

There were three versions of that bonus disc I believe. The warehouse version had the most songs. Then the preorder through the bands website had the second most amount of songs. I am not sure where the third version came from, maybe preorder at a physical store, but the third version had the fewest and probably did not have crush on it.

Edit: Here are the other 4 you probably don't have and the version of crush incase you are interested.

6. Crush [Live] (3/28/03, Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Winston-Salem, NC)
7. Drive In Drive Out [Live] (3/20/03, Ryan Center, University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI)
8. Cry Freedom [Live] (4/4/03, Physical Education Center, Carthage College, Kenosha, WI)
9. Dancing Nancies [Live] (4/4/03, Physical Education Center, Carthage College, Kenosha, WI)

I just jammed on this, it might not be what you're looking for but since none of these assholes cared to answer... I hate seeing these kinds of threads where people just seek help and it turns into a cat fight. I'm just around to help the guy out. This is from the 5-5-03 DVD which sounds similar to the Crush on the Some Devil Bonus, I thought I'd post it for ya. (Mute like crazy and end on the first chord)
