Crush problems...

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Crush problems...

Unread post by wwbom02 » Mon Nov 04, 2002 12:11 am

I know this is somewhat of a simple song but I have tried it many times without any success.. I find myself having a harder time with the simple songs compared to the difficult.. any help or suggestions would be greatly apprieciated.. thanks
Also the drop D is somewhat of a problem even though I've been playing for around 7 months now... HELP

I wouldn't say Crush is simple. Proudest Monkey, Deed is Done yeah but Crush ain't no cake walk but a good first tune to learn - no real big stretches or funky rhythm. yeah, drop D. it's a little bitchy at times but you tune the string down so when you fret it at the 7th fret, it matches with the open A string below (just like in standard, at the 5th fret)

Ken
