Is Chicago help

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Is Chicago help

Unread post by PittATL » Thu Feb 17, 2005 4:47 pm

Hey people,

So I really want to play Is Chicago, Is Not Chicago at an upcoming open mic and I just can't figure it out. The main verse riff is no problem, but what's the chorus?? The whole ".....Bag of Bones (or whoever) is in the room" part.

All the tabs I've seen just tab the chorus out with single notes and it just doesn't seem right to me. They sound like chords.

Also...are there two or three guitar sections to this. Does it go straight from verse to chorus or is there a part before he starts singing "Is Chicago, Is Not..." during the ".....in the room" part??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Aaron

This is a song that really needs a band behind it otherwise it can sound boring.
