Simple Question

Unread post by Grandpagotgame » Tue Feb 15, 2005 11:12 am

This one is easy so please answer it. When Dave holds chords like :
32x4
54x6
Like in Nancies and When the World Ends, does he hold the note on the E-string with his 3rd or 2nd finger? I can never tell.

first finger on the e string,2nd finger on the g and 3rd on the B most of the time, IE Crush. But in Stay or Leave I believe he holds it with 2nd finger on the e, and third on G fourth on B, depend on what chord his is going to play right after of before the 2xx23x

in the VH1 storytellers video, on crash he holds the 2nd on 6th with his second finger and the other 2 with his 3rd and 4th fingers, it looks as though he places his 1st finger over the other 2 to mute them in assurance they wont ring...
