New DMB cd?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

i think you're talking about the album dave is releasing with some friends on it, including tim reynolds. it isn't going to be under the "dave matthews band" moniker...

Wow, I'm suprised no one over here has heard about the new album. Madtadder is right, this isn't going to be a Dave Matthews Band album but a Dave Matthews solo project. Here's a link to a quick article on nancies.org that also links to an article/interview with Tim Reynolds regarding some about this album:

http://www.nancies.org/news/?id=533

The article make you believe more that this is a Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds project but actually Tim just sat in for a few of the tracks. A couple of the other guests rumored to be on the album are Bela Fleck and Ziggy Marley with other guests likely I'm sure.

If you feel like cruising the message boards while you're at nancies.org there are a lot of threads with rumors about the album - you can decide what you want to believe. It kind of sounds like we'll be seeing this album released sometime mid-summer with many of the songs possibly being debuted on the Dave and Tim tour.

It sounds like it's going to be an awesome album to me.

this is the first REAL info i've heard on the album. i did know that he was in the studio due to his "via satelite" appearence on Real Time with Bill Maher(however that's spelled), but that's all i'd heard about it.

along with the ziggy marley rumor, the supposed producer was steve lillywhite, which turned out to be bullshit.

i'll believe nothing till i see it. or until i hear "carbuncle," whichever comes first.

I heard there was going to be one song with Dave on rhythm, Jimi Hendrix on lead, Bob Marley on vocals, and John Coltrane on tenor sax.
