Easy Version of Billies Verse?
Is there an easier version of the Tripping Billies Verse? I've heard A-D-G-A-D thrown around, but it doesn't fit that well with the chorus - is there anyone who knows of a different way, perhaps using the same chord formations as the chorus for fluidity? I really have no idea what I'm asking for, I just want to see if you guys know of an easier version of the verse.... Thanks.

e---------------------------------------------------------------------------
B----6--4--0-------------------------------------6--4--0-------------------
G----2--2--0--/7--------------------------------2--2--0---/7--x--2--4----
D-0------------/7------7---5---0------/9-----0------------/7--x--0--0----
A--------------/5------7----5---0-----/9------------------/5---x-----------
E-------------------8--(0)--(0)-(0)--/7------------------------x--2--3-----[/code]
mess around with that....im not sure if i hit the 3 (0)'s when i play, so their optinal....make that palm mute long enough to set you up right for the last 2 chords and you'll be alright

I take every gif I watch (which is A LOT) with a humongous grain of salt. But I don't let that grain of salt get into my eye and blind me to whatever truth can be found in what I'm watching. He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.

Here's how i play it:
E:-----------------------------------------------------------------------
B:-----------------------------------------------------------------------
G:----6----4/---------7------4/5\4-------------------6---4/--------7-
D:-------7------------7-------0 0 0-------10-10-------7-----------7--
A:--------------3/5---5--------------7----10-10---------------3/5-5--
E:3\5------------------- 8-------------5/8-8--8-3/5-------------------
2 3 4 1 1 1 3 1 4 1(1-3) 2 3 4 1 1 1
ok, i really suck at writing tab but i tried to show the fingers i use as well.
i suggest watching storytellers cause that's how i figured this out. i know its not how dave really plays it but its what i came up with and it sounds pretty much dead on except for that 8-10-10 chord which may be 799, i can never decide which sounds better. i've been practicing this song for years now and all i can say is l@lc over and over and over....and over. it will come to you if you just practice.
hope this helps.
