the 41st

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Right before Dave sings "Come and see" Tim plays something right before the verse. This is on the Crash cd and I believe its on the 12.8.98 one also. Does anyone know what he is playing? If you have no idea what I am talking about, let me know. Thanks

It is the first chord in the outro tab on the main site. He just picks each string individually. This was Dave's main riff for 41police.

it is. the tab books that are out (which, for notation is dead on) agree with me. It is right, you just arent playing it right.

Is it the

---------10-e
------9-----b
--7---------g

The string positions may not be right but I think it is a 7 -9- 10 on the higher strings.

I was just talking about the timing of the notes.

As most of you know, the "books" are made by pro tabbers and may be very different when it comes to chord structure than say what Dave plays or what is written here.

that's how i play it. I usually hit the g and b strings three times, down up down, and then as i come back up i hit the 10. it gives it that sharp sound
