Is the slide a 3/5 or a 4/5? the site here say 3/5 but it looks like a 4/5. they sound close enough where it doesn't matter, just curious

man, i remember earlier this year when i first tried to learn some dave songs. one of them was would you say, but i could not figure it out and eventually gave up. (the first song i did end up learning was crash, yay!).

8 or so months later, i decided to learn what would you say, i got it! and to my surprise, it did not take me long.

just wanted to share that with ya'll because i'm proud of the progress i made on guitar. i'm playing stuff today i never thought possible. it's taken a lot of perseverance, patience, etc. but i did it!

so, everyone, keep up the hard work!

Any tips for strumming this song. When I play it I pick the notes it calls for in the tab but it's hard to sing and pick individual notes. I've been trying to strum it but i just can't seem to get that patented Dave sound when i do.

im not sure of what you mean by strum, you cant really strum this song, i find its easier to play ifn you play this:

()= muted note

-----------------------0-0--------------------------------------------------
-----------------------3/5---5--------2--2^0------------------------------
---------(4)-(3)-(2)------------------2-------2----------------------------
------0--------------------------------2----------2-------------------------
----------------------------0---0-------------------------------------------
-3/5------------------------------5/0--------------------------------------

i know its not "correct" so dont all you peeps jump on my back, but i can arleast sing and play if i play it this way. You can strum more with the muted notes in the middle
