Muting
On the repeated verse section of One Sweet World (the riff that is repeated about 100 times in the song), on the muted strings after the slide, does Dave palm mute or does he use his left hand to silence them?
I don't know why, but I've always had trouble with palm mutes. Feels awkward to me, especially if I am sitting down.
Thanks y'all.

But then thats basicaly "brushing" and "trapping" more so than "muting" (done primarily by the left)two steps too many wrote:no lefty here, and left is probably the best way, but like me if u practice it u can mute prettymuch everything with your right as u strum, which is my favorite

OK, prime examples of the difference between "muting", and ""trapping"
MUTING: THE STONE (Dave Matthews)
TRAPPING: NO SUCH THING (John Mayer)
