I think of #41 as two different experiences, acoustic or full band makes the difference...
My personal fav is from D&T UNH 2.19.96...I thought the emotion was built up the best it has ever been with just the two of them...(by the way, this show is one of my fav D&T shows!!!, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!)
I think (one of) the longest is maybe 4.20.02 in Kanata, ONT Canada with Bela & the Flecks, it's like 35 minutes or something...
they are all good!, i love that it's different every time...

my definite favorite is from 12/8/98. it's about 21 minutes and has bela fleck on it. insanely chill and great quality, since it was released on one of the warehouse 5's.

#41 on 4-20-02 was amazing like someone else mentioned. That one song made me dl the entire show from DC a while back. I believe the track length is about 38-39 minutes which is most likely the longest #41 they ever played. It has some of the coolest jams from any of their songs ever. Vic Wooten as always does some crazy bass solos that will make you listen to this song over and over. So if any of you out there are debating which #41 to look into, check out this one. You will not be dissappointed.

i was totally thinking about the song two step instead of #41, here i am with all my bootlegs infront of me trying to find the best two step when i should be looking for #41. hold on a sec.................ok.
i like the forest benifit with tim, 03-14-99, where the fucking crowd should have crusified that coc'ed up fuck who won't shut his fuck pie hole.(sorry, u gotta respect dave and if he's on this board well buddy i hope you learned your lesson and learned it well.) anyways, dave just stops talking and then takes that sighing breath of relief from the noise seasing.
then he and tim lay down a smooth version of #41. tim didn't solo too much but displayed his string bending abilities. so that's it. it will change tomorrow. peace and get drunk.

My "gitter" was my best investment
