Question about Dave & Tim's #41

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Question about Dave & Tim's #41

Unread post by fret » Sun Sep 05, 2004 5:45 pm

I looked for someting in the Tim Solo that reflected a portion of the song #41 I wish to learnn.. It's the (and you can surely hear it in the 3.29.03 version)

Code: Select all

ba..da.da.da...da.da------ba..da.da.da....da.da (repeats)
.. It's timmy in the background during dave's verse. Anyone have the tab for that, or able to point out where in timmy's tabbed version that specific part is located?

Thanks

the G, A, and B on the high string

so something like 7-5-5-3-3

that what you're looking for?

Code: Select all

E:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
B:-----------8--------8--------8--------8------8--------8-------7-------8----7-
G:-------7--------7---------7--------7------7---------7-----7--------7-----7---
D:---------------------------------------------------7----7--------5-----5-------
A:---5---------5---------7--------7-------7--------------------------------------
E:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think that's it, it's what he's doing in the album version and it's what I do, but I have a hunch it isn't what you're looking for.

check out Eric Wormanns site (Winglet). He has it spot on. Its different that what you have. Sounds pretty similar, but there are some differences with chords.
