fed up

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

fed up

Unread post by johntherevelator » Sun Feb 16, 2003 8:02 pm

im really starting to get fed up here with all the selling out dave's doing
i can take a little
hell, i can take a lot
but when you go against your initial intentions and morals by suspending a site that promotes your musicjust because youre not making money off it.... well.

its not as if they dont have enough money as is
fuck it pisses me off
Everybody always asks me how she's doing. Has she really lost her mind? I said "I couldn't tell you, I've lost mine."

i believe he may be referring to the shutting down of many online archives of shows, including the one in my sig.

meh, let the man be. He's got two kids. Even if he is loaded. It's not the end of the world. Little things to get mad at when now all you have to do is point and click on antsmarching.org to get any of 490 shows. 8)

yea, i'm 100% sure that Dave himself is ordering the closing of these sites. that's it he's thinking "i'll write songs, and then keep my fans from getting these songs" get real.

yeah but antmarching.org takes much longer

and its much harder to search for the show youre looking for

how can you tell between a full band show and a dave and tim show?

yes, ants is generally pretty fast, but compare that to the approximately 3 seconds that people had to wait before when going to the streaming site. not everyone's computer has the resources nor hard disk space required for the converting of the shn files to wav's, and storing them. streaming sites were a way for people to just casually hear a show or two, without having to become a hardcore trader. i myself do the whole shn thing, but i know it's not for everyone.

So the DMB "Administration" will surely make an amendment to their taping policy? If they are really shutting down all these sites, it totally goes against what is said in their policy. This is madness !

I have to agree...I don't think Dave has as much control as some think over what gets shut down...
