Wanted to hear someone who can play it well post up there performance.

I made a video of the chorus in my videos thread. http://www.dmbtabs.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=12809
I'm pretty there's a little bit of the main riff in the video too.
Hope that helps.

It took a while for me to get down. The intro obviously being the hardest part. Once you get that down the rest isn't that bad. Go check out the link above, he is real good. What I did was just practice the fingering without playing it for a while. Once you can hit the notes consistently, start picking it. Practice, practice, practice. When I play it, I just think of like my fingers are gliding between frets. As you are about to strum the 6th string, 8th fret(c) with your pinky then immediately move your 1 and 2 fingers into position. I used my pinky as the signal to move to the next positioning with my other two fingers. 4,6 move pointer and middle finger into position, 8, 4, 6 move the pointer and middle into position, 8, 5, 6, repeat process. That is just how my brain works. Good luck!

cool
Yeah the into is no problem or the bridge, it is the chorus and what leads up to it that gives me problems. Mainly the timing and that slide.

i do all down strokes and i believe that dave has done both but mostly does downstrokes.something cool wrote:Are you guys using alternate picking method on that intro, or all down strokes. I've been trying it both ways and can do it, but a little different sound with each. How does our man, Dave, do it?

- Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I still hate you, but you have a pretty good collection of nudie magazines.
