I don't want to come off like a jerk or anything, but is anyone working on this? I recently put one of my guitars in raised b and i really like that song. I would try to tab it but i'm practially tone deaf, and it's in raised b so I'm just lost. I would really appreciate anyone taking another look at this song. and again I really don't want to sound like a jerk I just really like that song

Ok, I got a 3 day weekend. When I am recording my demo tomorrow, I'll try to counqure it. I know the begining and the ending (which is Little Thing and then Hold Me Up/Down), but I just never tried to listen to the guitar during the verse and chorus.

Ok, got some stuff to do.

The little thing part is played exactly as the little thing chorus tab states, same fingerings and frets, but on a raised B guitar.

http://www.dmbtabs.com/song.php?sid=47

And the Hold me up/down outro is play exactly the same way, but everything is moved up 5 frets from the original song, making the tonality of the outro one octave above the original hold me up/down. Check out the tab for the outro on this tab for Cig Lit in standard, then just move it up 5 frets.

As far as the pre-chorus and chorus of Cig Lit, I'm still trying to figure those out as well. Well, what I should say is I'm too lazy to figure those out as well

I have a studio setup right here. I don't have a whimpy computer mic, I got myself a Nady TCM1050 recording mic. A Eurotrack Mixer, a Nice set of highqaulity headphones, my Pod Pro, my XT reverb, my Delta Lab Delay Line, and all going into my Line in directly into Cool Edit Pro.

Also, it's going to be 5 songs of mine, blackbird, and then I think Billies would be a good closer if I do it rock style like the band and not mellow like d&t.

Anyways, off to record, I will get to Cigarrete Lit tonight

Ok, I have to say, this is FUCKING HARD!!!! The guitar is so drowned out in the verse and chorus of the song. I think I have a basis on the verse, but not sure about it too much. I had to turn down almost everything in the equalizer to hear the god damn guitar, and still wasn't clear. It is based around these chords, if I am right.

Code: Select all

e--------------------------------
B--------------2----3------------
G--4----6------2----0----4----2--
D--x----7- or -2----4----0----0--
A--5----x------0----5----x----x--
E--3----5----------------3----2--

Is that for raised B, or standard?

What made ask was the strings being labeled EADGBe.
