So Dave played this song called "The Temple"

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I'm guessing a christian song. (mentions jesus a few times). but its not tabbed here, cause i think he only played it once. but it sounds awesome. i like the dark type feel it has. really intense. if anyone else has heard it orknows of a tab of it....tell me.

This is perhaps the best movie ever! I mean everyone has afro's and they are all singing like in the 60's and 70's pshychadelic like. it awesome. and it's about Jesus, so that always rocks. I mean this movie is cool.

In my favorites i actually have all the JCS tabs there, for quick reference.

Here is "the temple" http://www.dosguys.com/JCS/Jesus_Christ ... m#11temple

it's about when jesus went into the Temple and everyone was selling stuff instead of worshiping God and defiling the temple and Jesus totally kicked ass. Righteous Anger is intense. I tell you what. If you watch this movie (or you could read it i suppose but the movie rocks) it's pretty obvious that Jesus is awesome. Righteously Awesome.

I have been curious about this musical, but weary. How much of it is religon vs how muc is it jesus as a man (which is why I liked the Passion, because it focused on him, not the religon, but jesus as a man)? How much does it force religon on the audience?

Obviously you can tell I have issues with christianity, and get uncomfortable in certain situations.

its one thing to sincerely be different. And its another to intentionally try to be different simply because its trendy.

Not even close. I would go far as saying a horrible movie. It doesn't do the play justice at all. If you really want to experience JCS you have to see the play. If you can't do that, buy the soundtrack done by the London cast, those versions of the music are MUCH, MUCH better than the movie versions. Trust me

As for how much religion is in the play, not really that much. It just tells the story, it doesn't really say anything else except what The Bible tells. It's just a story, don't worry about it so much. Believe the story if you want to, but either way, it's just a story.
