Here's a thought....

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

What if Dave started an acting career? Do you think he could pull something like that off? I mean, after listening to him speak on recordings and on story tellers, I think he has a good sense of humor and some of the voices he does are pretty funny. He definately has a stage presence. But do you think he could take it to the big screen? Perhaps he could do a romantic comedy or something like that.

I'd definately go see just because he was in it. That'd be fuckin' funny as hell.

I know he could. I mean..he was an actor before he became a famous musician.

Would be cool.

doesn't everyone know about his part in "where the red fern grows"? it never got released, but dave was one of the main characters...

But a few months ago they said they were going to finish the production. I haven't heard about anything since, though.

If anyone has the Music Videos DVD, go to the director commentaries. In the one about smts (I think it's ken fox, can't remember though), the director says Dave is an amazing actor and he said that if he ever went into a full-fledged acting career, he would definitely make it. If you don't have the dvd, just think about any of his music videos! He does an incredible job of acting...
