Anyone wanna jam sometime?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Anyone wanna jam sometime?

Unread post by Teego Time » Wed Jul 28, 2004 8:07 pm

I was wondering if any of you guys lived in Washington and wanted someone to play some Dave with?

I dunno, its always been a dream of mine to bust out songs like Two Step with someone else playing the other guitar parts.

Wasn't sure which forum to put this in, so if ya wanna move it, feel free.

My best friend and I ripped a pretty cool set for his GF last night. Kind of a spur of the moment thing. I was doing Tim's parts and he does the main Dave Stuff and vocals. We did:

So Damn Lucky
Billies ( I did the verses cuz he doesn't know how )
Crush ( Storytellers slide solo is one of my favs )
Grey Street
Stay or Leave
Ants

Man, it was fun and we didn't sound too bad. But yea, having someone to jam some Dave with kicks ass!

Oh I live in Washington state. What I'm really want is to get good enough at Dave for when I go to Western next year. That way I can play and hopefully some granolla eating hippie guitar player will notice and stop by for some jam sessions. :D

I think living in Vermont pretty much sums up my chances of finding someone ont his board to jam with.

Ah, I'm over in Redmond, aka hell. Its like, 20 minuits away from UW.

As far as going to Canada to play, well that'd be cool but I don't have the time to get up there as much as I want. We're actually planning a trip up I think next week, but its going to be a climbing trip at Squamish.

Well, I'm hoping to stop in Seattle for a bit before the Gorge show this year. Maybe we could meet up at Pikes' and jam and get tips! :)

Eh, don't feel like you need to practice bro. I'm not too good. The hardest one I know is The Stone. Billies kicks my ass every time I try to learn it.

Haha, well I'm really not that great. People know what I'm playing when I play it though, which is a good thing I guess. :P
