how do you get daves tuning in Oh without a capo

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

how do you get daves tuning in Oh without a capo

I know the notes go B E A D F# B but when i tune down its too low and when i try to tune up the strings break. How do i get them tuned the way Dave does without using a capo?

u cant use ur regular strings, u gotta buy some lights and buy an extra b string make sure its .16mm, throw out the Low E, and put the A string in the E position and the D in the A, put everysting 1 place up from where is usualy is, and then put the extra B string in the high E position then tune it
