Let You Down......some explantion needed

what do you paly when he signs the "I HAD NO (i donno what he says)..." part where he like plays individual strings.....

I think, and I'm not sure but I've been working on it for a while, that you hit each chord twice and then the G and... dammit.. is that Gdim? Anyway, you hit the last two chords once only. You usually follow that part up with the same chords in the 3/4 time the rest of the song is in.

Also something that isn't covered here, at the end of the song, at some point, "Forgive me..." is repeated a couple times, and then you play the last 3 chords posted above me in a 3/4. Listen to a D&T version. I recommend 2/6/97.

Its in 6/8 time for that part and he plays the first verse part each chord on each beat. (one triplet, two triplet; one triplet, two triplet) and the same with each chord of the second verse part, I think.

As far as the 6/8 timing goes, the piano should provide some orientation.

Man, i wish i could play this song...

the changes from chord to chord fuck me up every time.
