Music Choice (Live at the Gorge)

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Music Choice (Live at the Gorge)

Unread post by yummypocketlint » Mon Feb 03, 2003 5:00 pm

Coupla things:

Any one notice that in "Grey Street" for the 1st 5 seconds or so he's playing his six, and then they cut to footage of the twelve string...and then mix in footage of the six throughout the song? I'm assuming he used the six on a previuos night and didn't change guitars because of a segue or transition to/from another song. Anybody know the skinny on that? Is the audio from the performance with the 6 or 12? Guitar is kind of buried in the mix.

Also, The shots of him playing in the parking lot...He's got a Taylor with Maple sides (614). Think thats his or what....

The shots were from different songs performed because Dave plays Grey Street with a 12. They just mixed it in with the song.

The guitar he used in the parking lot was Jason Mraz's. Dave jsut showed and played a couple of tunes with his band.

I believe they showed a one hour compilation of the three shows from the Gorge on a DirecTV channel (which, unfortunately, I don't have).

Peace,
except if you notice, he's not really playing it. it doesnt match up. and the audio is the busted stuff version so all of the video is just trying to dub video on top of the album version of the song.
