quick question about tabs....

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

quick question about tabs....

Sorry..im kinda new to playing the guitar...but i was looking at some of the tabs...and there are fret numbers outside the E string and not on it...on what string do u place your fingers to correspond with those numbers/why arent they on a certain string??? Thanks....
