Hello Everyone ? on Stay or leave

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Hey, new to boards. Been playin guitar for about 4 months now and enjoy playing daves stuff. In the bridge to Stay or Leave do you guys mute the 2 strings with finger 1 or do u mute the 2nd string with finger 4? Just wondering.

I usually just leave them open, but that's me. I'd just mute the A string with whatever finger is fretting the E string and leave the D string open. I'm assuming that means the song is in D as well, but don't quote me on it.

what part of the song are you talking about? post the tab as code.

[edit]

Code: Select all

 B:----------------
F#:----3------3----
 D:----2------2----
 A:----x------x----
 E:----x------x----
 B:--3-3----2-2----
if your talking about this part, let the A string ring. don't worry about trying to mute it.
